  Zara- 4yr 16h clyde cross mare that is simply awesome! This mare is fairly green to riding but previously was a driving horse. A friend had her in training and I kept watching her videos. When she hit the market, I was quick to snap her up. I could tell there was something quite special about her. I just feel like these super athletic big moving uphill draft x's are a bit hard to find and highly coveted.

Zara is just a LOVELY mover! She recently got her feet done (fronts on currently) and is really finding her new way of going. She is a horse with a super good hind leg that really comes over her back and is quite stretchy. I think you can ride her up or down depending on how you like to have them.

She has a nice motor without being silly or hot. She is still finding strength in the canter which I think is typical of crosses at this age but she has quite a good canter. Over the jumps today it really was just lovely to watch her sit right in the balance!

I believe this was her first time ever jumping and once again this is why I keep buying these crosses. Brains..scope...willing..the way they use their bodies. Not only is the front end good but quite a good hind end. She got tired quick because it was a million degrees this afternoon feeling like a swamp but we were just super proud of her.

This is quite an athletic mare. She has a great brain but I do not think she is for beginner riders. These types have an engine and they aren't afraid to use it :) It sure makes them ideal event horses, jumper, foxhunter, etc.

She is an absolutely stunning mare! Lovely bone. Good feet. No injuries, no vices and just nicely started. She is extremely sweet. Ships well. Crossties, baths, grooming, tacking, etc. Excellent in her stall and in turnout. She does pick up her feet well for the farrier. She is very sweet and enjoys treats.
