 Yada-4yr 15.2 h percheron/qh gelding that was purchased from his breeder.  His mom was a 16.2 h qh and his dad was a 18h percheron. He is currently 15.2h coming 4 so will he get more height? I am sure he will but I don't think he will be a huge either. =

His breeder started him but lightly mostly just groundwork but he had been hanging out for several months prior to coming to us. He is just the sweetest most in your pocket type. He is a true love! He also is the biggest napper. He is always napping so essentially right now his priorities in life revolve around eating and sleeping.

His brain is incredible. Baths, clipping, grooming, etc. He shipped from his breeders farm and then my hubby went to get him in KY where he was staying with my friend. He went to Ohio laid over there and then came home. He was very good for the trip!  When we got him we weren't exactly sure if he had been ridden but he stood quietly to be tacked up and acted like he understood. He was so quiet that Justin went ahead and popped on him. He rode around w/t/c in the round pen like it was no big deal. We had done a few rides on him in the round pen and one in the ring before the weather hit. Then he just hung out for a few weeks but went right back to riding without missing a beat! This horse is extremely sensible and just the type that I think anyone could continue to develop. Super nice mover. So comfortable. Best brain! He has been going english/western. We will be hitting the trails with him and doing some fun stuff if weather cooperates.

I personally love these types myself. They are clean slates and have only known the best. I find they are just so easy to bring along and soak up everything like a sponge. Once again, this is an athletic type of horse that should be competitive across disciplines which is how I like my draft x's.
