Wyatt is another one that Brooke and I simply think is incredible. We both walked away from his first xc schooling going holy hell this one is big time. So far he has not had any interest minus one showing where he truly showed his ass and nothing more lol :) Got to love horses but 99% of the time he is absolutely incredible. He is a 5yr around 16.2 h and crossbred. Who knows what all he is crossed with but I am telling you this horse can and will jump a house. He has not met a jump he doesn't like and with this canter/hind leg he simply has no limits to his scope.
Every single person who has ridden him just feels the ultimate confidence jumping him around because he just jumps the darn jumps and there is always something to be said for that. You can really put your leg on and ride him up to the jump. I know not everyone just loves that maybe he has some dutch in him but it makes for one heck of an incredible hind leg and jump. I cannot imagine any serious rider who does not like to ride a horse that is this uphill with a hind leg that under. You can compact it with the touch of a finger and let it out just as easily.
I do realize that I need to get him showing but well I don't exactly have riders that are into that piece of it at the moment so we are doing what we can and hope to get him to a XC schooling with some bigger questions/ditches/water/etc to truly show him off. We also need to go somewhere with a bigger jump course so we can show off him scope a bit. His flatwork is coming along so well.
This one also trail rides anywhere and everywhere in western tack. He drives very well too. He is super amazing but he isn't that crossbred for those who just want to putz around. He has movement, power and scope galore. He will trail ride super quietly but he very much is the type that will jump around big course like a piece of cake. We love him and honestly I just haven't been in a hurry because he is a barn favorite.
Very sound. Barefoot. No injuries and no vices. Easy keeper. Super manners. Just very easy type of horse to have around.
