 Velcro is a 5yr 16.3 crossbred (she was told QH cross) that his owner got as young horse. He was very carefully brought along and well started. I think Velcro is the perfect name for him because he has that kind of personality :) Very much an in your pocket curious type.

He arrived to us from FL right before we got a foot of snow so we are just getting to know him a bit. His first ride wasn't as great because snow was falling off the roof and the ring was icy. Today he was just much more settled and it really showed in his work. I want to go to an even softer bit (the soft rubber) next time because he can just get a little behind sometimes but he was much better at staying in front of the leg today which is excellent. He is a green horse but good lord this horse can seriously seriously move! Just love the way he uses all his parts and he isn't even fit at all yet!

We knew he had jumped a little but wow this one has just a lovely form over a fence. We had put up a few jumps while the ring is drying out and we just couldn't resist popping him around. We kept it very simple but he sure showed all the talent you could want.

Velco is one that I feel like we want to do a bit more with before hitting the market just so we can get him a bit more in front of the leg and understanding where to go with everything. He is sound, no injuries and no vices. Has done some trails too so we will continue on with that. This is an exciting horse!
