 Tempo Ride- 3yr 16.2 h growing gelding sired by Union Rags out of a Candy Ride mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/tempo+ride Talk about a pedigree for sport right there! Everything about this horse is just WOW! He had 12 starts last racing on 9/22/25. Retired sound, no injuries and has no vices.

There is a reason that people seek out the Union Rags offspring. They are quite special. He is just the absolute nicest horse to be around. As a farm owner, I just love him. So easy. He does all the things. Grooming, baths, tacking up, lunging, mounting, etc. Just happy in his stall or in turnout. So easy you don't even need his halter to walk him since he lost it one day and I was walking him with the lead rope around his neck.

He recently ran so he got a week to just be a horse. He had a little lunge session and then yesterday he had his first ride. I think we all thought he was just lovely in the free area but that didn't do his riding justice. You just hope that a first ride goes that well. This horse is just born soft over his back! He has three top quality gaits but man that walk and canter and just droolworthy. He is so soft just finger tip soft on his own. Makes the prettiest shape in the bridle. If anything we will switch to a flexible rubber bit next go around. There was another horse being ridden which got loose in the ring before he even got on. That horse was running around and he didn't even get silly about it. We caught that horse and he went on to have a very relaxed ride which is almost a bit unheard of for a baby 3yr!

Justin just could not stop smiling and saying what a feeling this horse gave and how unbelievable he felt for his first ride considering he ran very recently. I know there were some top Union Rags horses out eventing and I think this one will easily be one! He is fancy but he also just has the best brain you could ask for in a young one. He hasn't put a foot wrong since arriving. I couldn't tell you one bad thing or quirk about him. Okay, wait he didn't love having his ears clipped lol! We gave him a pass on that and just used scissors :)

If you are looking for something truly special to bring along this would be one that would check all those boxes!
