  Roman is a 4yr 16h crossbred gelding that I think is just super cool! I don't know his breeding but he has a background of being a fancy driving horse and also had maybe been lightly ridden. I suspect more driving than riding but boy he has taken to the riding as perfectly as one could hope. I don't know a ton of history just that he was a very cool blank slate of a horse that I find fun to source into sport horse careers. They tend to have a great foundation and the driving does tend to make them super solid in all the basics.

Maybe everyone doesn't love the movement on this one but I think he is just ultra cool. He has such a hind leg and that crazy reach in the front that likely comes from some sort of light crossbred breeding. He is uphill, light and balanced. If anything he is sometimes too light in the hand and you have to say come on stay up and out. He has just a fantastic brain and has been soaking up the training like a sponge. That canter! Did I mention he is just another one that took to jumping like he has been doing it forever? He popped around all the fillers in the ring which are really scary type fillers like whatever just no big deal. He had his first ride out in the field today and thought the XC was just plain FUN!!! He loves it so much. He is just so game and really whenever Justin is riding his inner kid comes out and I have to tell him to slow down and chill it out. He says this horse is just like riding a sportscar type and you can't help but want to go jump all the things on him.

The work ethic is just the best and again whatever these crosses are they are the types that just will go all day for you. They really just want to do the job and are so eager to please. This horse is just one that I can see doing so many things and doing them well. His brain is the best. He is solid and safe. He is a big mover and while he is not hot that trot/canter is rather big so not a beginner type. He is still green under saddle but also as genuine as they come.

He is sound. No injuries. No vices. Barefoot. Has had teeth done, worming and feet. He has been super in turnout, stall, etc. His manners are impeccable. He is excellent with everything in the barn. Just a really sweet kind horse to be around.
