RCL The King of Rock N Roll aka Rocco is a 12yr 15.2 registered Welsh/TB gelding https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/rcl+the+king+of+rock+n+roll sired by Knightwynds Topaz.

I was doing my typical facebook scrolling when I came across his ad. The video was very cute but there wasn't a lot of info. One really bad picture. I spoke with the agent who was selling him for his 70yr owner who had been trail riding for the past three years all over TN. She was saying his owner rode him anywhere and everywhere but really just trail riding. She really liked him and thought he was one that would suit our program really well. I did some searching when I realized he was registered and found his breeder's page where there was just tons of footage from his entire life of his dam, siblings and of course him. She had done a ton of stuff with him from dressage shows, hunter shows, breed shows and just all around educational fun riding. I could tell his foundation was just lovely. I figured hey I am really good at doing a glow up/refresher which is all he has needed.

He came in missing a shoe which we finally got back on today. He had some heavy road shoes with big borium for trail riding so he should be moving even better here soon! He got clipped up and turned back into a fancy english horse :)

I am sure it has been a bit since he was asked to use all his parts in the way that we are reminding him but good lord he is just the cutest fanciest thing! He is honestly way fancier than I expected which is always a pleasant surprise. He is quite with a good brain but also very sporty and athletic. This isn't what I call a huntery type but he will clean up eventing/jumpers/dressage/hunting/trails/etc. He has a ton of mileage doing all the things which makes him a really fun versatile horse. I don't think he is a dead beginner type simply because he is pretty well trained with a lot of gears which sometimes can get pushed by beginner riders.

Obviously it has been three years since he jumped but he is honest, sensible and willing. He doesn't always get it right but he also doesn't seem to care when it goes less that perfect which is a quality that I truly appreciate in a horse. Yesterday he gotten ridden in the cold rain for his first ride and was fantastic for his first ride here.

He appears very sound. Excellent feet which good high compliments from my farrier. No vices. No injuries.
