  Rivage- 15.3 h 4yr gelding sired by Maximus Mischief out of a Fort Larned mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/rivage11 This lovely horse has run over fences and on the flat. He has 10 starts for 14k and last raced on 7/13/26. He has been with his trainer/owner connections his entire career. She reported him to be extremely sound, no injuries and has no vices. Said just a lovely temperament, easy to ride, good mover and jumper. He had the luxury to be stabled at Fairhill so lots of hacking out, galloping hills and riding out in groups which really translates over to the second career so nicely.

I will be honest, when I first met him I thought he was cute enough but he didn't jump off the page at me. My husband had given him high marks for walking way out to the trailer at the track. He is great for clipping, grooming and his glow up. He just settled in like he has ben here forever. I quickly changed my opinion from cute to oh wait he is fancy when we put him in the free area! Holy smokes can he move and what a hind leg on him. Always why it's important not to just go on looks :)

Rivage is one of those horses that just makes you smile when you ride him. He is a "good egg" just goes soft and balanced in just a rubber bit. You can ride him on the buckle and he just pokes his nose out and flicks his cute little toes and then you can pick the reins up, put on your leg and he really just makes such a lovely shape. Such a nice mover. Great canter. His brain is just so good. He is really the type that just allows you to ride him and ask all the questions. He has now had several rides and has just been absolutely perfect each time even in the super sloppy footing (big storm!)

He has jumped around trotting in and cantering out some lines with super scary fillers. He has quite a scopey jump but maintains his quiet nature and just quietly trots around on the buckle after jumping around.

He could not be any sweeter in the barn. Right now with all the rain, he is battling some skin funk so getting medication baths where he has to stand their marinating :) He is just absolutely perfect to work on in all aspects. Great in stall, turnout, etc. No injuries and has no vices.

She said he loves XC and we aim to get him out soon but I suspect this one won't stay long. He is just really lovely.
