Real Good Man- 10yr 16.2 h TB imported TB gelding sired by Califet out of an Invincible Spirit mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/real+good+man This incredible TB was imported over from Ireland. He raced over timber and also ran in steeplethon. He spent two season hunting with Greenspring Valley as well. This horse has miles and miles galore hacking, xc, hunting, going to school gymnastics in indoors during the off season and so much more. He is truly a class above if you know what I mean!

He had eight starts and last raced in 2023. He retired sound, no injuries and he has no vices. His owner simply wanted to retire him. He spent that past couple of years just living in a big field just being a horse still with his same race connections. I know it sounds silly but they have a lot of nice horses just hanging out and they felt like some really could just move on to new jobs.

When Justin Lee got him from the field he has mane down to his shoulder, was pretty field kept looking and he had surface cracks in his feet. He was really sore on his feet from living barefoot in the field. He has done a miraculous job bringing this horse back to form! He has beautiful new growth on his feet. He is fat and shiny. He thinks he is hot stuff and is quite happy to be brought back to work.

When you ride a horse like this you cannot help but to think holy heck what a horse. Justin had just been getting him looking good again and has just started riding him. You would think two years in a field...but yes this is a horse riding like this coming back after two years of just hanging in a field. He is soft in his body, stunning mover, so flexible, great off the leg, uphill, light and beautifully balanced. The training is just impeccable and they don't forget it. He jumps incredible. I mean I expect a timber horse to have a big scopey jump or they don't make it but damn this horse simply is impressive. Justin was totally geeked out after jumping a few fences just to have a feel.

His connections had nothing but good things to say about this horse as they had him his entire race career and have known him since he was imported over here. There is nothing to fault him on if you ask me. I guess I would say he is a TB for people who appreciate a good TB. He is a big mover, scopey jumper and he knows his job. This is not a beginners type of horse. He is quiet with a good brain. I actually expect him to just get better and better as he gets back into work.

He has been perfect for shipping, clipping, baths, grooming, lunging, turnout, stall and all the things.
