    Planet is a super cute 16h 4yr gelding sired by Mendelssohn out of a Tapit mare. https://www.pedigreequery.com/planet23 He last raced 11/17 retiring sound, no injuries and no vices. He arrived quite thin but I can see him visibly putting on weight already! He has been wormed, ulcer meds and soon to get his teeth done. He is an excellent eater so I suspect it was just a case of lack of calories. He does not seem like a horse who is stressed about much and his head is in his hay bag all day long.

His second ride was just so darn lovely! He really figured out the straightness and was keeping those shoulders straight today. Super smart boy! I was also impressed that he handled another horse being lunged in the ring just wasn't even looking at him which is nice to see! He is very workmanlike and just one that tries so hard to please. I think he is quite stunning already and just love the shape that he makes but imagine him with weight/muscle on him. He will be absolutely incredible. That canter is so lovely! Right now it's been so wet we have the jumps out of the ring but I suspect he is one that can really jump. He can just sit down so nicely and he has such a good hind leg on him.

I was told he had a tie back so best to feed on the ground but does not restrict performance. He is an excellent project for someone looking to give one the winter to relax! He is in the low 4's. Located in Delaware.
