 Mr. Tibbs- 4yr 16.3 h growing 4yr clyde/hackney gelding. This horse is exceptional! I haven't had a clyde/hackney yet but if they are anything like him I will gladly have a barn full. Tibbs was started as 2yr in Canada on long lines and ground driving. Then he was lightly driving as a 3yr handling the traffic, snowmobiles and so much more driving in Canada. He progressed to the marathon cart which he looked so darn stunning driving. He was also nicely started undersaddle. They did the most beautiful job starting this horse and it was so obvious I honestly didn't ask much besides how can I send you money :) You just know something nice when you see it.

I think maybe I did think clyde/hackney would have more knee type action but I think he moves absolutely stunning. His flatwork is just gorgeous. The hind leg is exceptional. So elastic. Huge ground covering gaits but so soft for a big horse.

We have just really been doing light things with him. He is still a young growthy horse so fun stuff mixed in with a little ring work. He headed off for a trail ride and we just perfect. Rode out in western tack going through ditches, ponds, traffic and more. Brave, quiet and safe! We have used him at home to work with some young horses because he is that safe you can pony right off him.

Today he headed out for a xc schooling and we were scratching our head trying to remember if we had jumped him but really he was just going for the mileage regardless. We start with the baby logs and just see how they feel. Needless to say, um this horse can absolutely jump a huge damn fence. He has scope galore and really super duper form. Sure, he is a bit of a wet noodle with his steering and he isn't that fit but I think it is just plain obvious what this horse had to offer.

I haven't talked about him because I honestly very very much want to keep him. We will need a good set of hunt horses when hunt season rolls around and finding horses like him well it just isn't that easy as we all know. He is big, super mover, wow jumper but has the brain everyone will want.
