 Mr Corn- 5yr 16.3 h gelding sired by Flintshire out of a Caitenus mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/mr+corn He had 14 starts running on the flat and then over fences in 2026. Last raced on 6/29/26. Retiring sound, no injuries and has no vices. His trainer said he did whack a hurdle pretty good in his last race and had a little bit of bruising on the ankle which xrayed and ultrasounded normal. His trainer and I both share a love of anything by Flintshire. I have found them to be exceptional athletes. They move and jump well not to mention have all been ammy friendly and extremely rideable. I also think they are all quite beautiful.

She first asked me if I had room when she should have just led with it's a Flintshire because then you simply make room :) This was a horse she said everyone loves in the barn, training, etc.

He just came in late yesterday. We got him out for a quick stretch of the legs earlier in the day and wow just wow! Talk about so loose in the body for having raced recently. Steeplechase can be a bit tough on them but he looked great! Later we got him out for a quick ride and honestly it was a very quick ride because he is one of those horses that just comes out and is magical. I feel like lately I have been very blessed with some exceptional Tb's. Really really special ones that honestly are just a class above. This one is right up there with those. Just soft, bendy, uphill, light, balanced and the hind leg that pushes right up through the shoulders. Three quality gaits! The rideablity for first ride is just everything you could want. He even popped over a few jumps and looks every bit as scopey as reported.

I hope he sticks around so we can take him in the xc field but somehow I suspect everyone else is going to see exactly what I see. Finding this type is the needle in the haystack. He is just so kind and exceptionally well mannered. I think he will be the type anyone will enjoy developing.
