Mount Craig is a stunning 16.2 h 6yr now gelding sired by Arrogate out of a Curlin mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/mount+craig He ran 21x for 191k. He retired sound and has no vices. He is one week post castration and honestly was the nicest stallion prior to castration. Good stallion's make better geldings though and the quality of life is better. Craig is just the coolest and you will always find him just chillin with his droppy lip. He pretty much gets excited about nothing except feed time. He absolutely LOVES grooming and really just leans right into it. Baths are also on the top of his list of awesome things. He is a people pleaser and a very very nice horse to be around.

He pretty much got here and then went to be castrated at the clinic so we didn't get a chance to really evaluate his movement. I thought he looked like a very nice hunter type and I think he sure is that. I honestly do not find many Tb's with the hunter movement and this canter. He has the brains, the looks and movement to be competitive in the hunter ring. He still is pretty muscled underneath his neck so he has no idea how to use his topline properly yet but that is all just training. Finding one with the natural ability that is quiet enough to want to be a hunter is sometimes the toughest part. They have to be quiet and they have to have the canter to find the jumps without changing. I think he has all that and the fancy trot to boot. Did I mention his amazing brain? This one is going to be special.

Right now he needs weight and muscle. Castration hits these guys hard but they do bounce back fairly quickly. I think I will have him looking good in a few weeks and we will be working on teaching him to stretch so we can remuscle his neck a bit.

New pics coming soon. Waiting for some sunny weather and his swollen man parts to subside.
