When I bought Flash, I also bought Midnight. She was another driving horse but when I saw her trotting across the field I thought she was so lovely. The seller popped on her and I could tell this one really was such a light mover with tons of suspension.
Midnight is a 16.1 h 5yr percheron/qh cross mare. Not sure she had much riding outside the ride the seller did on her but talk about one smart mare! She is transforming in a way that really makes me want to say hey this is why we buy these cool driving types! Such a good mover. Exceptionally brave and willing. She has been also doing a bit of lunging to show her how to use her body differently and that really shows up with the riding. We have ridden her western and today she went english. She also hacked around the xc field.
I think she is just fancy fancy and can't wait to really get her going. She popped over a few little jumps today and yep this one is going to be a super good jumper. She has been awesome to work around in the barn and just super mannerly type. We haven't done her pictures yet because I really want to get her looking just a bit better before glam shots.
She is sound, no injuries and no vices. I did just do a pregnancy check on her this morning because I am not that paranoid person :) I only need to learn a lesson once ya know!
