 Mazzeo- 4yr 16h gelding sired by Caravaggio out of a Into Mischief mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/mazzeo Mazzeo had five starts not showing much talent. He retired off the track in August of 2025. He has been turned out and lightly restarted. He is sound, no injuries and has no vices.

We honestly haven't had a lot of time for his glow up but we wanted to get a quick eval done today and he did not disappoint. This horse just screams major athlete in every single way. He just walks with that spring in his step and when we jogged him it was just easy to see this one had the goods.

He was awesome for his first ride here today and honestly impressive because my ring is packed full of scary jumps with fillers. There was a horse in the round pen and then a horse came in. He handled everything like a pro! This horse is one that just makes you say wow and really wait until we truly get him cleaned up. He is a super mover that just makes the shape in the bridle all on his own. What a super fancy trot and that canter is just everything you want to jump some big darn jumps!

When a first ride goes like this you have a lot to get excited about but I sadly don't think this one will last long. These are the special types and the good news on him is he has been let down for the past eight months!
