Seriously though could Mario be any cuter? I wish I knew more of his story but I really don't. He is a 10yr 14.2 h gelding very light type so maybe a welsh x? He came out of TX from what I tracked down where he was ridden through the Stockyard and did some trails. Then he ended up in Georgia but he wasn't a match for them. I suspect mainly because he is quite a bit moving more forward type which is exactly why I wanted him. I saw him and thought well if that isn't an english pony not western haha!!!
Check him out!!! I mean I am sure nobody asked him all the things we did but he was just figuring everything out so nicely. This sucker can really really move!!! What a nice canter. Makes a cute shape. That trot is fancy. Justin just had to pop him over a jump and boy oh boy this one is going to be really cute. He has been absolutely perfect considering he arrived at 10pm last night. I had thrown him in the crossties where I pulled mane, clipped feathers, face, etc. He came out today and stood great for grooming, tacking, lunging, mounting, etc. Seems really easy going with everything so far.
He does have a small hernia on his right side which I had the vet look at since we were in the middle of a PPE marathon today. He said since he has not had any issues at his age it is unlikely to be an problem. I will be getting more pics/video and all that good stuff later.
I was told I am allowed to buy more ponies if they are like this one haha but all my riders are tall so obviously not exactly ideal but I just like this one too much not to get him.
