  Marathoner- 6yr 15.3 h gelding sired by More than Ready out of a Street Boss mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/marathoner2 Marathoner had 36 starts for 138k in earnings. Last raced on 8/27/25 and then was gelded at the track in preparation for rehoming. His trainer has wonderful things to say about him in regards to his manners, personality and trainability all which have shown true immediately!

I absolutely love anything by More than Ready and then add in the Street Boss who truly throws some of the best moving/jumping horses I know and you know this one has something special. He has been nothing but class since arriving. Standing in the crossties for grooming, baths, clipping, etc. My farrier said this one can stay :) He was perfect for his hot shoes as I was tied up and just left him to stand alone.

We had let him loose in the free area the other day and thought wow what a lovely mover but it honestly never does them justice. As nice as he moved out there, he was just way nicer under tack. Came right out just as relaxed as you could want a horse on the first ride. Stood quietly at the mounting block. Already stretching down over his back in all three gaits. Just a super nice nice mover with a lovely way of going. He is so balanced!

He got his feet done and we gave him a few days to adjust. His next ride he came out in the evening to ride in the cross country field. Once again the brain on his horse cannot be beat! Just goes right to work. Such a nice mover. Uses himself so well. He had his first introduction to jumping and wow what a jumper! You just can't teach that bascule/scope he is already showing. Not to mention just so brave and rideable. That canter makes it hard to miss but when it didn't come up perfectly he was just happy to adjust.

He is RRP eligible. Sound, no injuries and has no vices. The type that I think will very easily be competitive across disciplines.
