Kennel Club- 4yr 16.1 h gelding sired by More than Ready out of a Tale of the Cat mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/kennel+club He had 15 starts for 72k. Last ran 10/1/25. He always had the winters off. Retiring sound, no injuries and has no vices.
We have another horse by More than Ready in the barn and really I just have always loved them and sought them out. Just such nice types in my opinion for sport.
When this one walked off the trailer, I said boy he is just by type. He has been excellent for shipping, clipping, baths, grooming, tacking, mounting, etc. Lovely manners. Good in turnout and in his stall. Just easy to work around.
This horse is just one that I can tell you is going to change in all the good ways when it comes to his movement with just time but you sort of have to have a bit of vision. When he comes out he has a shorter more choppy trot but we use the canter to stretch out the trot and he is really finding his trot now. He is uphill, light, soft and balanced. He is brave and sensible. He does "squeal" which is the cutest thing ever and that is his version of being up when it is freezing cold and whipping wind. You hear this little ehhhhhh squeal and it makes you laugh. He has such a nice balanced canter which leads to a very good jump. I love that he is just such a game willing horse. Nothing complicated about him!
He is really started nicely in the ring, has went off the farm to trail ride in western tack and is popping over some jumps in the ring and out in the xc field. He is RRP eligible.
