 Freckles was part of the group that my husband purchased when I sent him off to make a connection with a breeder in Indiana.

Freckles is a 5yr 16.3 h friesian/percheron mare. I have some pictures of her parents. She was broke last year and had several months put on her and that sat until just now. These guys all lived out in a big field but are super duper friendly.

Freckles has been really doing well in her education about baths, crossties, etc. The only thing she isn't a fan of yet is her ears messed with but it is getting better as we work with her.

One thing I can tell you about this group is that they are all extremely quiet. They might not know much but their reaction to anything is more slow than go. If she hadn't been ridden in a while honestly you wouldn't know it. There was no drama at all getting on her. She did some lunging in the round pen and then has now had two sessions in the big ring. She is just the type that is happy to walk along but she appears to be one that is going to just be a star pupil. She learns so fast.

I do see more driving movement in these two (the pinto's) as their mom is was different than the grays. You either love it or hate it :) She rides like a big old comfy couch. I think she will be rocking the trails in no time at all!
