Java is a stunningly gorgeous 16.1 h 4yr Shire Sport Horse mare sired by Loud Bridge Louis out of a TB mare named Kaylee https://beta.allbreedpedigree.com/java-wcUjaqkU/pedigree Java had all the ground work put in as nice as it gets so when she got to us she was just ready to get started. If all horses were this easy to get going then everyone would be starting babies. When I tell you she is brilliant, I really mean it. She just hasn't put a foot wrong and if you saw her going you would think she has been under tack for months.
We rode her a few times in the round pen in western tack after confirming all her groundwork was firmly installed. She took right to that. Then she had a ride in the ring and today she ventured out to the field. You would think that a just broke youngster might be wiggly, gate bound, lack steering, forward, etc but I am telling you this particular cross has become a favorite on my list. She is just light, uphill, balanced, naturally soft, forward without being hot and transitions as smooth as they come. Three quality gaits. The brain is just unbelievable. I mean the field is spooky and she could have cared less. I don't even think she peeked at any of it. She even stayed straight not leaning towards the horses in the round pens. What a star! I really just cannot find one fault in this horse at all.
Justin has done a fantastic job just giving her confidence and letting her go forward happily around. This mare is a beautiful mover already and when she gets fit she will be a winner! She even popped over a few jumps just no big deal. Sometimes you just find yourself a very special horse and I feel blessed to have one like this in my barn. I hate having to sell them sometimes but honestly when you have stock like this there is a sense of pride. I know she is going to go on and do big things.
