   Good Reunion- 6yr 16.1 h gelding sired by Union Rags out of More than Ready mare- https://www.pedigreequery.com/good+reunion He had 29 starts for 93k and last raced on 7/9/26. Retiring sound, no injuries and has no vices. He sold for 50k as a 2yr.

I just love this pedigree for sport and he looked like a classy dude which immediately became obvious as we started grooming him up, took pictures and rode him bareback around the yard within hours of walking off the trailer from the track :) If anything he was a bit quiet for his pictures and we were using a tree branch waving it around to get his attention.

Reunion has now been here for a few weeks doing a bit of everything learning to lunge where he is quickly figuring out the contact and stretching out his body. He has been traveling off the farm to trail ride in western tack and let me tell you this horse is an absolute trail riding machine. He goes out in western tack and will stand perfectly still taking pictures of other horses. He will lead the trail ride or follow in the back. He walked right into the pond, across the bridge, ditches and more. He is quiet, flat footed and SAFE!!! I would put anyone on him and head out. Makes me think he will love to hunt. He has the brain to handle chaos.

His ring work has changed dramatically as his body has started to let down from the track. Honestly, I understand he isn't "flashy" just yet but I think it is in there. The older horses who have raced a bit especially at this track always just are a bit tight so time and working them over their backs really does wonders. He has the most incredible rocking horse canter. You can ride him on the buckle. He is so so so quiet and the brain cannot be beat! He is now learning to push at the track and wait a minute there is a good trot in there! It's really starting to come out and we are keeping it all short and sweet at the moment.

Today (8/6) we took him out to the jump field and he just strolled around as perfect as always and was putting in some awesome work when he promptly twisted his shoe and stepped on his clip right as it was just getting good. Horses...I swear!!!

There are Tb's that I truly believe are safe quiet beginner types and he is one of them. The brain on him is just top notch. There is nothing he doesn't do well. If you haven't ridden him in a week (we have tested it) he comes out exactly the same. He is perfectly behaved with every single thing in the barn, traveling off the farm, etc. I think this one is one that would make a non-tb person a believer! He is as kind as they come. Will try anything you ask of him. He truly is just a good egg. Such a sweetie and a horse you just want to be around.
