Flicka-8yr 14.2 h (measured) bay roan QH mare. Talk about one that is just so nicely broke both in the ring, trails and more. Has done ranch work, worked cows, great with livestock, dogs, chaos and more. She has that teacup canter you can teach anyone to canter on. Have someone who isn't that confident? This one will make you feel safe! She is just broke in that really nice way that everything is just smooch and she goes.
She is extremely quiet and safe. She shipped over to my farm today and got her intro to english tack and she has only been a western horse. Then we taught her how to jump and she was quite impressive with those cute little knees. Hunter pony deluxe!!! I find these western types the absolute nicest because darn if they are just really well broke. She neck reins and of course does the direct rein. Has a darn good whoa button. Say it or just sit up and she will whoa. Great off the leg. Super smooth transitions. Will just maintain her pace without needing to be nagged but also is not in a hurry to go anywhere. Ride her on the buckle or in the contact.
She doesn't look at anything and is just not a silly type at all. She walked off the trailer, went to eating, stood in the crossties for a glam session, did a photo shoot, rode around bareback and then rode in the ring all just as relaxed as what you see. She has been trail ridden since he got her. Just goes out alone and meanders down the trail as quiet as they come.
She is a stunning pony in my opinion even if I was just itching to pull that mane. She has gorgeous feet. Wears front shoes. Sound. No vices. She does have a few scars which I photographed. On her right haunch there is a scar and a little pocket of soft tissue. Also on her right belly another soft pocket of tissue. She has had these a LONG time but no we do not know the history of them.
She is safe for kids to ride and handle. Quiet as can be to lead, groom, bathe, clippers, crossties, trailering, mounting and all the things.
