Flagmount's Belle Amie- 6yr 17h Irish Draught Sport horse mare sired by Flagmount's Freedom out of a Bellamy Road mare https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/flagmounts+belle+amie I would love to talk more about her breeding but honestly I still need to do some research. I know this stallion was a very good event horse through the upper levels of eventing and well known for throwing extremely amateur friendly offspring.
I bought this lovely mare from her breeder. She sadly had dealt with some health issues and just wasn't able to do as much with her as she had hoped. She is very very nicely started and has shown that she has all the right pieces to be something very special.
I have to admit that sometimes when I buy horses out of my "risk acceptable" price range it scares me a bit but sometimes horses just speak to me. I saw the videos and I thought this horse really will just be incredible with more training. When she stepped off the trailer, we all were just impressed. She has such a gorgeous head, eye and big ears that I love. She is all class.
She had her first ride here today and she started out telling us nobody had ever asked those things of her and she maybe wanted to pack up her toys and go back to VA. She then decided maybe it wasn't so bad and really put in some lovely work :) I loved that her answer to everything was just so gentle in nature. She hadn't been asked to bend, stretch, work over her back, etc but darn if she didn't finish gorgeous. I put some of the beginning work at the end of the video as a reminder of where she started because I like it for reference. She is so smart I know she will just be one that is going to blow us away in another few weeks but right now she needs her feet done and it's going to be 100 degrees so maybe so light lunge work.
I think she is stunning and now need to go do all my research on her bloodlines!
