   Flagmount's Belle Amie- 6yr 17h Irish Draught Sport horse mare sired by Flagmount's Freedom out of a Bellamy Road mare https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/flagmounts+belle+amie This sire is well known for producing extremely ammy friendly talented horses who excel across disciplines! Bellamy Road on the Tb side lends a great brain, size and bone which I think she has in spades.

I bought this lovely mare from her breeder. She sadly had dealt with some health issues and just wasn't able to do as much with her as she had hoped so she has had a very light start in life which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. She did quite a bit of groundwork with her and they just rode her around very much on a long rein letting her go around quietly.

When she came to us, I know it was a bit of a different ask in terms of asking her to soften her topline, push from behind and really work over her back but in some ways I think you get to see a horses true temperament when you are asking all the new questions. She is so smart and willing. You can see the progression across her videos which is super cool! She is starting to get fit, learning to stretch, use all her body and sit down at the canter!

This mare is the type that simply makes you say WOW! Right now she is very unfit and having to use parts she didn't know she had but you can see all the pieces are there. Three quality gaits. A huge ground sweeping trot. Big ground covering canter! I could honestly see her eventing, dressage or even the hunters. She is so sensible and fun to ride.

We took her out to the field to pop around some xc jumps. I am not sure what her jump experience was previously but boy does she have some scope in there! Of course she is green but I am just evaluating the brain and natural ability on a first session. She sure showed me she has the talent to do it all. I also really think she has the gallop for the eventing. We just need to take our time getting her fit and strong in the body with short sessions. It's hot and she is just out of shape.

Bellamy has went off the farm several times now and is just that horse all of us enjoy riding. She went swimming and rode down bareback from the trailer on a 20 min hack to the water. She has been trail riding in groups where she lead, followed, went in water, ditches, bridges, traffic and more. She also traveled to a show facility to school a jump course which probably was a bit of a big ask considering she is quite green but again this mare is just one that will try anything you ask of her. She jumped around, got her changes and was just as perfectly behaved as anyone could ask for a green horse to be.

She has been a horse that is truly enjoyable and trustworthy every single day. Same if you ride her once a week or 5x a week. Great work ethic. Smart and fun!

Really looking forward to developing this one! She gives off the super talented special horse vibes doesn't she! Did I mention she is gorgeous with the kindest eye, floppy big ears and stunning head!

www.benchmarksporthorses.com  located in Delaware. She also has 65 clean xrays and vetted as pristine as they come. I tried to purchase the vetting but unfortunately at full cost it simply did not make sense. It was just nice to know that someone will get a horse with 65 clean radiographs!
