Esh- 4yr 16.3 h gelding sired by Catalina Cruiser out of a Lookin at Lucky mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/esh Talk about some nice breeding for a sport horse! This guy was a 50k yearling but only had 7 dismal starts on the track. He last ran on 3/7/26. He spent a few weeks turned out at my friends farm in Ky before coming to us.
Esh got the chestnut funk at the track and must have lost all his hair or something happened. He looks like his molting right now and it's rather unattractive which is sad because he is a stunning horse! Give him a few weeks and we will have him looking much better.
This horse is just quite a large developed turning 4yr. Huge bone, big feet, nice chest, etc. Looks like a horse that easily will top 17h and continue growing.
He comes from classy race connections and is retiring sound, no injuries and has no vices. He has been excellent for shipping, clipping, baths, grooming, tacking, mounting, lunging, etc.
I do wish his coat looked a bit better because he might get overlooked and really I think he is just another very talented UL type of horse. He was just absolutely lovely on his first ride. Soft, stretchy, lovely balance, three really nice gaits and the best brain. He went on the buckle, in the contact and was so relaxed he popped around some jumps including scary fillers like it was all no big deal. He strikes me as a brave confident should I say slightly cocky type that would be well suited to eventing/jumpers/etc.
