Copper is a 4yr 16.2 h belgian/tb cross that I think is the nicest type. He is really coming along so well and honestly this is a horse that I really think will do big things. He is still pretty green as his background was more driving and he wasn't ridden prior to coming here. He is absolutely brilliant and has learned everything so darn quickly.
He is a really good mover with elastic movement. Good hind leg, nicely uphill, nice natural shape, balanced and light. He is still sorting out the contact and exactly where to put all the pieces but I think finding the ones of this athletic ability in the draft cross variety is pretty darn hard these days. He should be extremely competitive eventing/hunting/dressage and more.
I love his brain. He is super smart and willing. Just the type that is fun to ride because each ride is a progression of the last. He is still working on the mounting block as well. No issues with mounting just the person walking up the block. He is getting it so I am sure we will iron that out quickly.
He is excellent for shipping, baths, grooming, tacking, turnout, in his stall and so much more. He is sound, no injuries, barefoot and has no vices.
