If you are looking for a stunningly gorgeous draft x gelding that is the horse version of a couch Buck is your guy :) Seriously though he is about 17h and just a tank of a horse. He is 12yrs old and until now we don't think he has done a whole lot in his life due to a very tragic situation with his former family. He was placed into a new situation and they put a super good foundation on him.
Buck is still quite green but also just as genuine as they get. There are horses that are just naturally quiet and he falls into that category. He is really is the type that may not know but is just happy to try anything asked of him. He is learning all about how to use his parts, steer, go forward and straight. He has been doing some lunging and is starting to stretch down and accept the bit. Each ride he comes out with a better understanding. He is just one of those horses that is simply tolerant. I realize he is green but I would feel like anyone could safely get on him and walk and trot around because he just isn't going anywhere fast.
Can't wait to hit the trails with him here shortly. I think he is going to love that. He was introduced to some little jumps today and the jump is so cute on him. He has so much to offer and we are just getting started.
Absolutely a love bug in the barn with excellent manners. Buck has no injuries. No vices. Barefoot and is obvious an easy keeper lol!!!
