Beer Pong- 4yr 16.1 h mare sired by Redeemed out of a Marias Mon mare https://www.pedigreequery.com/beer+pong2 This is a lovely homebred mare that has been with her connections her entire life. If you are looking for a lightly raced model she retired after two starts due to a case of the slows. No injuries, no vices and really nice feet.
She is absolutely STUNNING! Just a really nice type with super nice movement. She was just lovely in the free area. Just super sporty, athletic and lovely mover.
She is excellent for shipping, wash stall, grooming, tacking, baths, etc. Great in turnout and in her stall. Just overall super manners.
The weather has turned straight up evil on us so we are behind but we finally got ride video of her today. She now has about 4 or 5 rides but the video has been tough due to weather. She is still a little worried about the mounting block so we just take a few minutes each ride to make her relax but she is good to mount. Sometimes just standing above them is weird which I mean yeah totally understandable. She is really starting to learn to stretch down and out. She started out a bit locked up in the neck but nothing like a smart mare who really learns so quickly. She is starting to want to come down more each ride. She is excellent about moving off the leg but she is a short backed type that is so athletic it is all about keeping those shoulders straight and just working to unlock the base of her neck. She is just so willing and very receptive to learning. She has an incredible work ethic which I just love about a good mare!
The hind leg on her is quite nice and she has great reach through her shoulder. There is a ton more movement in there but right now we are just working on keeping her shoulders straight before really showing it all off.
She has been extremely brave. Not spooky or silly. Such an athletic type!
