  Arlo-5yr appy/belgian cross gelding that honestly just makes me smile looking at him. He is so adorable and just the sweetest. He really thinks his new workout routine is horrible. He hates sweating. He wants to go back to being a pasture puff but I told him he is just way too cute for all of that!

Arlo had some trail, ring, english and western riding experience. He was with a beginner who decided he was just a bit too green. I honestly don't find him that green but I sometimes think maybe our definition is different. He stops, steers, moves off his leg, good in the mouth, soft in the bridle, nice transitions, forward without being hot, will pop around jumps and do all the things I find I want them doing. I think his greenest things are his right lead is a bit sticky because he doesn't quite stay as straight that direction. We are already getting that fixed up. Otherwise he is quiet, sane and fun.

He is quite a good jumper and truly has the appy scope that we love. He doesn't have a clue what to do with his body yet and gets a bit tight to the distance but that will come with lots of trotting in. He is brave jumping in the ring and out xc.

We have lots of plans of trail riding, hunting, xc schooling and all the fun stuff we want to do with him. He is just so unique and really cool. Honestly he is quite fancy. Nice mover, good canter, lovely conformation and cool to look at. He can go on the buckle or work into the contact.

He is super duper easy peasy in the barn and he does all the things really well. Shipping, clippers, crossties, farrier, grooming, baths, tacking, mounting, lunging, etc. Just easy to live with. Barefoot, sound, no injuries, no vices, easy keeper. Happy in or out. I will be happy for him to stay for a while!
