     Ain't I a Cool Dude- 5yr 15h AQHA gelding sired by Aint I a Cool Guy (Frenchmans Guy) out of a He Might Do Too mare https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/aint+i+a+cool+dude He is barrel bred but had been a head horse for roping as well as doing ranch work prior to coming here. Now doing dressage, jumping, trails, working young horses and being an all around type!

So when I bought him he was sold to me as a grade gelding but because of his awesome brand I was able to do some research on him. I have obtained his papers with the help of his awesome breeder. It was mentioned to me that he might be a cryptorchid. He was and he just had a successful surgery so now a gelding 🤣 I have a farm full of mares and I mean at least 10+ mares here. He was turned out with mares, shipped with mares, trail ridden with mares and we simply had no idea. I have had him several months and he is just as perfect as they come for everything so he probably will be even more perfect now.

This is a VERY well bred horse. He is paid in full to the Futures Fortune. He is eligible for Select Stallion Stakes and Gold Rush Barrel Incentive.

Prior to coming to me he was being used as a head horse for roping (I have video if interested). They said he had been in the right hands since day 1. He scores well, has plenty of rate and a cool move. He had been used all around the ranch.

I am going to be more than honest, I know NOTHING about roping. I have some video from the auction he was sold in if interested. I know he is more barrel bred but it looked like he was a solid roping type.

I bought him (we do sales) because he is cute, quiet, a lovely mover and well he is super attractive. We have ridden him mostly english. Worked on dressage, done trail riding, taught him to jump and worked some of our young horses off him. He is one of those versatile horses that can do it all. He obviously is excellent western but rides english great as well. He is a grandma type on the trails. Safe and solid as they come! Water, ditches, traffic, leads, follows, ride him backwards, stand up on him and really just do whatever you want. He is a ride down the trails with a beer in your hand kind of horse.

In the ring, he is really learning to get soft in the bridle. Obviously with roping that isn't the objective but he has come a long way since we have had him. This horse is good broke. Moves off the leg well, good in the handle, nice transitions and just rides around very well.

I have no doubt he would pick up the barrel racing stuff really well. He has a good foundation on him. He is smart! I think he absolutely without a doubt is quick and fast but we haven't exactly ran him around barrels. We have worked horses off him and he can cut with the best of them, get down low and boogie.

He has been perfect in the barn, clippers, baths, shipping, tacking, lunging, grooming and all the things. Excellent in a stall, turnout, etc. No buddy issues. Perfect to handle. I walk him with another horse going in and out. You can ride him bareback out to the field. He is just a super fun cool horse. Sound, good feet and no vices. He has a few scars in various places all superficial.

I had planned on selling him a bit sooner but I swear on a trail ride he got chiggers and he got welts across his entire body. We had been riding in some really tall grass but from top to bottom he had what I have seen chigger bites to look like. It wasn't real pretty! So now that has resolved but he still has some random spots :) Horses I swear....
